Thomas "Tommy" Penn

Thomas Eugene Penn, 53, of Montgomery City, MO, died on Sunday, April 7, 2019, in New Florence, MO, the result of a car accident.

Thomas Eugene Penn was born July 14, 1965 in Montgomery City, MO, to Donald Wayne Penn and Barbara L. Hauser Penn.  He married Sharon Hinton on September 14, 1985 in New Florence, MO, and have been married over 33 wonderful years.  Tommy’s biggest joy was being a Grandpa most of all – he loved spending time with his grandchildren.  He will be Greatly missed.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Sharon Hinton Penn of Montgomery City, MO; three children:  Lance Penn, Tyler Penn and fiancée, Jessica Higgenbotham; and Holly Penn and fiancée, Andy; four grandchildren:  Mia, Avery, Elliot, and Nash; two sisters:  Laura Rose and Julie Penn (significant other, Lonnie Holloway); brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Alice Carpenter and husband, John; Paula Scheeler; Pete Hinton and wife, Barb; Vicki Thommen and husband, John; Brian Brinegar and wife, Julia; Keisha Allen and husband, Mike; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents; his mother-in-law, Donna McClure and father-in-law, Paul Hinton, Sr.; sisters and brothers: Amy Penn Flowers and husband, Ron; Sarah Penn; Tony Penn and Timothy Penn; and nephew, Trenton Penn.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Noon on Saturday, April 13, 2019, at the New Florence Community Center in New Florence, MO.
