James Howdeshell

James Howdeshell passed away on May 9, 2021 at the age of 45.  
 
James was born April 8, 1976 in Wilmington, N.C. to the late James B. and Mary Ann Howdeshell nee Blackwell.
 
James enjoyed disc golf, playing pool, hacky sac, watching the St. Louis Blues, listening to Five Finger Death Punch, Slayer, Metallica, Violent Femmes and so many more. He will be dearly missed by numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
 
He is survived by his three sisters, Karey Howdeshell, Theresa Armistead and Dinah Howdeshell Booth; two brothers, James Howdeshell and Monti Howdeshell; significant other, Diana Lynn; five children, Leelan Howdeshell, Katelynn, Damian, Casey Lynn and Joselynn; nephew, William; niece, Jasmine; nine grandchildren, Jordyn, Emery, Jamesyn, Kylen James, Mason, Makenna, Madilynn, Matthew and Bentley.
 
He is preceded in death by his father, James Burton Howdeshell; mother, Mary Ann Howdeshell; and one son, Blaine Springer.
 
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 5, at Celebration Hall, 211 N. 2nd St., Jonesburg. Doors open at 1:30 p.m.
 
The family was served by Pitman Funeral Home.
