Leslie Williams

Leslie Jean Williams of Danville, Missouri was born on April 11, 1960. She died on June 21, 2021 in Tucson, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roger Lee Williams, mother Shirley Jean Schlanker, father Donald Schlanker, sister Merri Kruse, brother Lyle Schlanker and Sister in Law Lisa Schlanker.

She is survived by her four children: Heather Reynolds, Keith Reynolds, Tiffany Jean Williams, Brittany Williams, Taylor Harrison, Dalton McRae and Austin Harrison. She is additionally survived by her long-time partner Steven Matthew Harrison and her grandchildren Mackenzie, Keegan, Kale, Connor, Brayden, Adalyn Jean and Hailey.

“Les,” to many, and Leslie Jean to others, she had an exceptional work ethic and abundantly unique personality. Her “little woman” joke was unforgettable to any who experienced it. Despite all that life threw at her, her indominable spirit was undefeated. Leslie Jean was uncouth and unapologetic in her endeavor to survive, love, and add laughter to those around her. She was a dedicated mother who fiercely loved her children and grandchildren even to her own detriment.

To all those who knew Leslie, the above description will never be all she was in life, nor will it do her memory justice. To know her was to be left overwhelmed. There are not enough words to embody all that Leslie Jean was, and will continue to be, in spirit to all those who encountered her.

While it seems woefully inadequate, thank you Mom for all that you were and tried to be for us. We love you. To say you’ll be missed will forever be insufficient to express the depth of your absence.
