Alma Jane Ferguson, 79, of Hermann, passed away Monday, February 13, 2023 at University of Missouri Medical Center in Columbia.
Alma was born in Gasconade on March 11, 1943, a daughter of the late Doniphan & Mildred (Sieg) Perkins. She was the widow of Clyde Greathouse; they were married in 1958 in Gasconade.
Alma worked for Florsheim Shoe Factory, Jonesburg Shoe Factory and Blanke Plastics. She is survived by a daughter, Leona Bernice Greathouse, of Kuwait City, Kuwait; a daughter, Patricia Ann Greathouse & companion Daniel Trimble, of Middletown; a son, Dennis Wayne Greathouse, of Siloam Springs, Ark.; a son, Raymond Charles Greathouse and wife Rande, of Fort Worth, Texas; a daughter, Sherry Ann Buchholz & husband Jim, of Steedman (Callaway County); a daughter, Linda K. Alber, of Hermann; by 26 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren; a sister, Vonnie Dotson, of Rhineland; and a brother, Alan Roark, of Tuscumbia (Miller County).
Alma is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clyde; son, James Lee Greathouse; son-in-law, Donald Alber; brother, Doniphan Lloyd Perkins.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 22nd from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home in Hermann.
Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association.
