The Battle of the Chapters was held on July 18 at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds Youth Arena. Four Montgomery County-area 4-H chapters – Big Spring Busy Beavers, Coon Creek Cronies, Kountry Kids and Middletown Meddlers – and FFA chapters from Montgomery County and Hermann high schools competed in the contest. The Coon Creek Cronies won the 4-H championship, while MCHS came out on top in the FFA division. Theo Tate photos
