Robert Lee “Bobby” Cash, 65, of Mexico, passed away at 6:34 a.m. on Aug. 24 at University Hospital in Columbia.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Aug. 30 at Bethel United Methodist Church, 80 Bethel Church Road in Wellsville. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. on Aug. 29 at Myers Funeral Home in Wellsville.
Mr. Cash was born in Rush Hill, Mo., on November 5, 1956, the son of Joseph Edgar and Bessie Mae (Peery) Cash. On August 3, 1975, he married Carol Jean Romaker, who preceded him in death on June 23, 2014. On August 12, 1983, he married Nancy Kaye Rosenthal, who survives.
He was previously a member of the Jaycees. He also enjoyed camping and spent a lot of time at Hanson Hills campground. He was an active member of Bethel United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife Nancy, survivors include three sons, Robert Eugene Cash of Springfield, Brian Allen Cash (Kala) of Mexico, and Robert R. White, of Mexico; two daughters, Kimberly L. McCurdy of Palmyra, and Susan E. Cash of Mexico; five sisters, Juanita Raines of Wellsville, Bonnie McCurdy of Vandalia, Mary Flake of Warrenton, Connie Turner of Middletown, and Della VonVain of Middletown; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Ricky Joe Cash; and a granddaughter Courtney Cash.
Memorials may be given to Wellsville Community Betterment or Wellsville Park Board. They may be sent in care of Myers Funeral Home, 203 E. Bates Street, Wellsville, MO 63384.
