Bradley Joseph Ryan, 17, of Jonesburg, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023, in High Hill.

Brad was born on April 22, 2005, in Lake St. Louis, the son of Cory Ryan. He was attending Montgomery County R-II High School, a member of the 2023 graduating class. Brad had a loving heart and enjoyed his family and friends. He loved Fast & Furious and had a passion for anything that had a motor and a steering wheel – from fast cars to three-wheelers and square bodies. He could fix anything and get it running again. Lovingly nicknamed “Mud-Pit,” you could always find him outside getting dirty, hunting, fishing, building a fire and riding derby mowers. This country boy had a soft spot and was always doing sweet things like making his mom chicken alfredo because he knew how much she loved it. Brad was adventurous and had a gentle soul. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his mother, Cory Ryan, of Montgomery City; brother, Eddy (Kayla Nutt) Terry of New Florence; sister, Hailey (fiancé, Nick Anderson) Terry, of St. Charles; fiancé, Alexa Green of Jonesburg; grandfather, Uncle Tony of Jonesburg; niece, Brynlee Ann Terry of New Florence; father, Steven Terry II; and aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Brad was preceded in death by his grandmother, Liz Delay.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at noon at Schlanker Funeral Home in Montgomery City. A visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Louis. The casketbearers are Eddy Terry, Nick Anderson, Steven Duniphan, JT Ryan, Aaron Craven, Tony Schmidt, Jr. and Dalton Hinkle.

Memorial Contributions are suggested to Cory Ryan to help with funeral expenses, in care of Schlanker Funeral Home, 207 Danville Road, Montgomery City, Missouri 63361.
