Caroline Dean Reeves, 72, of Bellflower, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis. She was born on October 18, 1953, in St. Louis. She was the daughter of Charles W. and Minnie D. (Cole) Lucas. Carol was united in marriage to Bruce Reeves on February 16, 1989 at the Hawk Point Baptist Church and together they shared three sons and one daughter.

In her earlier years, she worked various automotive jobs, managing car lots, taping cars, detailing vehicles and working with General Motors. Carol had the experience of being a model and a Daytona 500 Flag Girl. She was primarily a homemaker and caring for her family was her top priority. Carol was a lifetime member of the Hawk Point VFW Post #7560. She enjoyed singing karaoke and was known as “little country.” Carol liked to play Bingo and watch Family Feud. She was never idle; she was always busy. Carol looked forward to going to yard sales, estate auctions and antiquing. She loved the time she spent with her family; she was the glue that held the family together. Carol was known for spoiling her grandchildren by working puzzles, playing bingo, painting nails and rocking babies. She was a spiritual woman who could light up any room. Her helping hands and contagious smile will be missed.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce Reeves; three sons and one daughter: Joby Reeves (Stacy), Thomas Reeves (Mindy Sue), Jody Reeves and D’Anna Reeves; grandchildren, McKayla, Kaylynn, Gideon, Liam, Ivory, Willow, Karson, Hunter, Kinsley and Elena; brother and sisters: Charles “Chisel” Lucas, Trish Harrell, Lynn Starks and Theresa Wamick; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Minnie Lucas; and siblings, Ralph Cole, Diane Bowman and Mark Lucas.
