Mrs. Loretta "Cissi" McKenna (nee: Hauser) of Wright City, passed away at her home with her husband at her side. She was born on March 11, 1957, to the late Donald and Wilma Penn. She had reached the age of 67 years.
Cissi earned a nursing degree and worked her entire career at the New Florence nursing home. She loved all of her residences who lived in the home. She was united in marriage to Dale McKenna in November of 2010 in New Florence. They spent 24 wonderful years together. She was a member of the New Florence Baptist Church. Cissi and Dale enjoyed traveling together to Europe, Africa and South America. She loved listening to music and enjoyed all holidays, especially Halloween. She also loved her grandchildren dearly. She never judged anyone, she was a kind, loving lady and was a friend to everyone. Cissi was a devoted Christian, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many and she will be missed by all.
Cissi was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Wilma Penn. She is survived by her loving husband, Dale McKenna; three children, Danielle, Georgia and Taylor; two step-children, Luke and Travis; four grandchildren, Gavin, Autumn, Elizabeta and Mina; four step-grandchildren, Harrison, Hailey, Leo, Riko, and a new baby girl on the way; one great grandson, Ethan; siblings, Allen, Stacey and Jane; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and many friends.
Visitation and funeral services were held on Dec. 9 at New Florence Baptist Church.
