Eastbound I-70 in Warren County near Stracks Church Road remains reduced to one lane

Eastbound Interstate 70 remains reduced to one lane as work continues in the area to make modifications to work zone at Stracks Church Road (MM 196.6); however, rain received overnight has delayed progress.

Modifications to the work zone include widening the lane widths and shifting the lanes further north/left, new contrast striping for higher visibility and installing rumble strips in the lanes for an audible alert. Eastbound I-70 will remain in a one Lane condition until the modifications are complete. Duration of the one lane condition is unknown.

Motorists can expect traffic delays in the area and are encouraged to seek alternate routes, if possible, and allow for extra time.
