Evelyn Mae Lee, 92, of New Florence, formerly of Fenton, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Aspire Senior Living in New Florence.
Evelyn was born March 3, 1933, in Mercer County, Mo., the daughter of Raymond and Luella (Sims) Rushton.
Evelyn enjoyed the outdoors and in her younger years she could be seen water skiing, riding motorcycles or playing softball. She enjoyed caring for her lawn and fixing anything that was broken. She loved animals, especially her precious Lilly. She faithfully attended Fenton United Methodist church until she was no longer able.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Runge, Jr.; her husband Kenneth Lee; parents; sisters, Marian Wood and Vivian Craigg; and stepson, Jimmy Lee.
She is survived by her brother, Eddie (Judy) Rushton of Bevier; brother-in-law, Danny Craigg of New Cambria; children, Paula West of New Florence; Linda (Tom) Pinson of Montgomery City; Don (Linda) Runge of St. Charles, step-son Kenny (Anne) Lee of New Brunswick, Canada; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held later. Memorials may be given to the animal shelter of your choice.
