Sheridan Temperly and the Jonesburg Elementary Ready Bodies/Learning Minds Team received a grant from Mrs. Mary Ridge and the Missouri Retired Teachers Association to help fund a new program at Jonesburg Elementary School this year.
The Ready Bodies/Learning Minds (RBLM) program helps students develop the ability to better control themselves and accomplish tasks.
By helping students improve their ability to maneuver and function in their environment, they perform better in tasks such as handwriting, sitting still, paying attention, speaking and behavior.
The Ready Bodies/Learning Minds team is excited to bring this program to Jonesburg Elementary and see the benefits in their students. The Jonesburg primary classes are currently participating in the Ready Bodies/Learning Minds program with plans to expand it to all grade levels in the near future.
