Joan Tresa (Cramer) Smith, 93, of Columbia (formerly Wellsville) passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at Boone Hospital.
Joan was born in St. Louis on February 3, 1933, the daughter of David and Elinor “JoBob” Lovelace of Wellsville (formerly St. Louis).
On November 24, 1951, Joan married Kenneth Laverne Smith of Potosi. The couple had two children, David Kenneth (Tammy) Smith of Ashland (Boone County) and Kristina Lynn Smith (Mark Stack) of Leesburg, Fla.; five grandchildren, Lindsay (Darren) Johnson, Bryan (Hanyue) Smith, Craig (Ashley Silva) Haskins, Mark Eakins, Dylan Baskett and 11 great-grandchildren.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth; and parents, Dave and JoBob Lovelace.
Joan requested no services; memorial donations may be given to The Ronald McDonald House.
