An accident on the corner of West Hudson and North Madison streets in Wellsville in the afternoon of Aug. 4 caused injuries for two Laddonia residents – a 27-year-old male and a 4-year-old male juvenile.
The 27-year-old male suffered moderate injuries, while the 4-year-old had serious injuries. Both were transported to University Hospital. They were riding a 2013 Dodge Dart.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2008 Dodge Ram – which was driven by a 23-year-old Wellsville male – was heading southbound and was attempting to turn right as the Dodge Dart, which was heading northbound, crossed the center of the roadway. The front end of the Dart struck the driver side of the truck.
The Wellsville male suffered no injuries.
