Lance G. Onger passed away on September 9, 2023 at the age of 62. Lance was born June 18, 1961 in Jefferson City to Bobby and Linda Onger nee Cram.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Wanda Onger nee Strubberg of High Hill; daughter, Samantha (Tommy Keppler) Onger of High Hill; grandson, Landon Onger; parents, Bobby and Linda Onger of Warrenton; brother, Grayson Onger of Creve Coeur; many loving in-laws; and cousin, Valerie Doss.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents; and uncle and aunt, Jim and Judy Bittle.
Lance enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting and NASCAR racing and loved watching all sports. He worked for Bass Pro and enjoyed his job. Lance loved his family. Family was his No. 1 priority, especially his grandson Landon. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation is scheduled for 3 p.m.-7 p.m. on Sept. 13 at Pitman Funeral Home in Warrenton. Funeral services are set for 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 14 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Warrenton. Burial will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Warrenton.
