Lynn Ann (Penrod) Lamb was born on September 22, 1962, in Mexico (Audrain County) to Donald Ray and Shirley Jean (Browning) Penrod. She entered the eternal rest of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, April 16, 2023, in Davis, Okla., at the age of 60 years, six months and 24 days.

Lynn grew up in Montgomery City. She and her family moved to Davis in February 1981. Much of her working career was spent with Scotty’s Soonerette and Finish Line, both of Davis.

Family was always the most important thing in Lynn’s life. She cherished spending quality time with each member of her family. She, along with everyone else in her beloved family, was an avid fan of racing.

Lynn was a very sweet-souled individual. Her genuine care and love for others was very evident in her life. She had a very giving heart and never expected anything in return. Lynn will be remembered as a very sweet and caring daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and friend.

Lynn was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley, in 2020.

Survivors include her son, Tavis Penrod (Jaymi) of Davis; her father, Don Penrod of Davis; her two sisters, Dawn Summers (Steven) of Davis, and Carmen Daugherty (Bryan) of Dougherty; four nephews who loving referred to her as “Nynnie”, Trey Daugherty, Trent Daugherty, Dale Vineyard, and Chase Vineyard; four great nephews, Oliver, Abner, Griffin, and Dawson; her great niece, Raygan; and last but certainly not least, her beloved “grand-dogs”, Charli and Dolly.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Cremation was entrusted to Hale’s Funeral Home of Davis.
