MCHS baseball vs. Bowling Green

The Montgomery County baseball team suffered its first Eastern Missouri Conference loss of the season on April 13, falling to the Bowling Green Bobcats 5-4 in nine innings. MCHS, which was back in action for the first time since April 3, dropped to 3-5 overall and 2-1 in EMO play. The Wildcats came back from a 3-0 deficit to tie the game at 4-4 on a two-out RBI triple by pitcher/third baseman Evan Abercrombie in the bottom of the seventh. Bowling Green broke the tie on a MCHS throwing error in the top of the ninth. Also for the Wildcats, Ethan Rakers had two hits and scored two runs.
