The Montgomery County baseball team began its Eastern Missouri Conference season on March 28 with a 22-2 win over Mark Twain on the road. The Wildcats scored seven runs in the first and 15 in the third to begin their quest of their second straight EMO crown. They shared the league championship with Elsberry in 2023. Theo Tate photos
