MCHS boys basketball vs. Cole Camp

The Montgomery County boys basketball team  had its season in heartbreaking fashion, losing to the Cole Camp Bluebirds 42-41 in a Class 3 sectional game on March 2 at Smith-Cotton High School in Sedalia.  The Wildcats, who finished their season at 17-13,  led 40-37 with five seconds to go before Cole Camp rallied with the win, thanks to a half-court 3-point shot by Ethan Shearer as time expired. Senior Drake Smith scored nine points to lead MCHS.  Story by Theo Tate
