The Montgomery County boys basketball team closed out its home season in heartbreaking fashion, losing to the Elsberry Indians 44-43 in overtime. The Wildcats also finished their Eastern Missouri Conference season at 5-5 after winning the league title in each of the last two years. Elsberry clinched the EMO championship with the win over MCHS and finished 9-0 in league play. Clayton Parker finished with 17 points and Keenan James added 10 for the Wildcats. THEO TATE PHOTOS
