MCHS boys basketball vs. Hermann

The Montgomery County boys basketball team won its second straight district title after knocking off the Hermann Bearcats 52-44 in the Class 3, District 7 championship game on Feb. 26 at South Callaway High School. The Wildcats improved to 17-12 and will play Cole Camp at 7:45 p.m. on March 2 in a sectional game at Sedalia. Ethan Rakers finished with 16 points with four 3-pointers, Drake Smith scored 13 and Clayton Parker added nine for MCHS, which was the No. 3 seed in the six-team district tournament.
