MCHS cross country at Class 3 district meet

The Montgomery County cross country team qualified three runners -- senior Dawson McCown, junior Lyric Ford and sophomore Malia Rodgers -- to the Class 3 state meet after the trio turned in top-30 finishes at the District 3 meet on Oct. 30  at Linn High School.  McCown placed fourth in the boys race, and Ford and Rodgers finished fifth and sixth, respectively, in the girls race.  The state  meet is scheduled for Nov. 6 in Columbia.
