MCHS cross country at Class 3 districts

The Montgomery County cross country team  qualified a pair of runners to the Class 3 state meet on Nov. 5 in Columbia -- senior Lyric Ford and sophomore Jadrian Thurmon. Both finished in the top 30 at the Class 3, District 3 meet on Oct. 29 in Fulton. Ford finished third in the girls race and Thurmon came in 29th in the boys race. Ford will make her fourth and final state appearance, while Thurmon will compete at state for the first time. THEO TATE PHOTOS
