The Montgomery County cross country team turned in a strong performance in the Class 3, District 3 championship meet on Oct. 31 in Bowling Green, qualifying five runners to the state meet in Columbia. Lyric Ford placed first, Malia Rodgers finished third and Destiny Shaw came in 14th in the girls race. Dawson McCown finished second and Connor Galarza placed 10th. THEO TATE PHOTOS
