The Montgomery County girls cross country team won its second straight Eastern Missouri Conference title on Oct. 15, placing first with 26 points in the EMO meet at North Callaway High School. Senior Lyric Ford led the way with a first-place finish with a time of 18:16, her third conference championship. Senior Destiny Shaw (fifth), junior Olivia Shaw (eighth), freshman Taylor River (ninth) and senior Carie Schroer (13th) also earned all-conference honors for the MCHS girls.
