The Montgomery County cross country team turned in a strong effort in the Eastern Missouri Conference meet on Oct. 16 at Bowling Green. The girls team won its first EMO championship in program history, sophomore Malia Rodgers placed first in the conference girls race and senior Dawson McCown captured his third straight league title. Juniors Lyric Ford and Destiny Shaw, sophomore Olivia Shaw and freshman Jadrian Thurman also earned all-conference honors for the Wildcats. THEO TATE PHOTOS
