The Montgomery County football team celebrated Hero Night on Oct. 1 with a 42-28 win over the Greenville (Ill.) Comets at Jim Blacklock Field. The Wildcats won their second straight game and improved to 4-2. Evan Abercrombie kicked three field goals, including a 42-yarder in the second quarter, three yards short of a school record. Also, Logan Hutcheson scored a pair of touchdowns and Keenan James, Ty Leu and Dominic Luttrell each scored a touchdown. MCHS honored the military veterans at halftime. THEO TATE PHOTOS
