The Montgomery County girls basketball team won its second straight district title after beating the Hermann Bearcats 50-30 in a Class 3, District 7 championship game on Feb. 25 at South Callaway High School. The Wildcats improved to 22-6 and were scheduled to take on Skyline in a sectional game on Feb. 28 at Jefferson City. Malia Rodgers scored 25 points and Claire Cobb added nine off the bench for the Wildcats, who won back-to-back district crowns for the first time in program history.
