The Montgomery County girls basketball team captured third place in the Montgomery County Invitational in thrilling fashion, knocking off the Clopton Hawks 63-62 in overtime. Junior Sam Queathem led the Wildcats with 19 points, including the game-winning basket with three seconds left in overtime. MCHS finished 2-1 in the seven-team tournament.
