MCHS girls basketball vs. Sullivan

The Montgomery County girls basketball team began its season on Nov. 21 with a 36-34 win over the Sullivan Eagles at Ballew & Snell Court. Junior Malia Rodgers scored 20 points, including 11 in the first half, and junior Maddy Queathem added nine points with three 3-pointers to lead the Wildcats, who won their seventh straight season opener.  MCHS came back from a six-point  deficit in the third quarter. The Wildcats' next game will be at 6 p.m. on Nov. 28 in a first-round game against Bowling Green at the Montgomery County Invitational. THEO TATE PHOTOS
