The Montgomery County girls basketball team had its season end on March 2 after losing to the Tipton Cardinals 59-25 in a Class 3 sectional game at Smith-Cotton High School. The Wildcats finish their season at 20-8. They competed in the Sweet 16 for the first time since 1998. Senior Sam Queathem scored 11 points off the bench for the Wildcats, who 25 points marked a season low. THEO TATE PHOTOS
