The Montgomery County softball team started its 2021 season with a second-place finish at the New Haven Classic with a 2-1 record. The Wildcats lost 6-1 to Russellville in the championship game after getting wins over St. Clair and Elsberry in the first round and semifinals, respectively. THEO TATE PHOTOS
