MCHS softball in Class 2 district finals

The Montgomery County softball team had its season ended on Oct. 14 with a 4-3 loss to the Valley Park Hawks in the Class 2, District 4 championship game at Valley Park High School. The Wildcats finished their season at 9-19.  Seniors Carissa Doyle, Ky Rulo-Townsend and Maddie Wisdom played their final high school softball games.  Sophomore Aliviah Fischer had two hits and juniors El Reagan and Maddy Queathem, sophomore Miley Rieke and freshman Dylan Topel each had a hit to lead MCHS, which beat Metro and Jefferson in the first two rounds to advance to the finals.
