The Montgomery County softball team 1-2 at its jamboree on Aug. 22, beating Community R-6 7-5 and losing to Silex 9-0 and Elsberry 12-4. The jamboree had a round-robin format, and all games were played in three innings. Against Community, MCHS junior pitcher Maddy Queathem struck out Kayla Jeff with runners on second and third in the top of the third to preserve the win. THEO TATE PHOTOS
