MCHS track at Class 3 state meet

For the third straight season, the Montgomery County track team got a state champion as sophomore El Reagan came out victorious in the pole vault. She joined Renee Finke (high jump in 2019 and 2021) as the only Wildcats to win state titles within the last three years.  MCHS had a total of eight athletes earning all-state medals. Sam Queathem finished fifth in the javelin, Lyric Ford came in fourth in the 1,600, the 800-meter relay team of Adam Czerniewski, Dominic Luttrell, Jadrian Thurmon and Jacer Brower placed sixth and Tyler Erwin was eighth in the high jump.
