The Montgomery County track team competed in the Class 3, District 3 championship meet on May 10 at Owensville. The Wildcats qualified 11 athletes to the sectional meet, which will be held at Jim Blacklock Field on May 17. They are Kaylee Daume, Tyler Erwin, Aubrey Janes, Anna Klekamp, Miley Rieke, Austyn Robinson, Emma Rodgers, Jadrian Thurmon, Samantha Turner, Jillian Weekley and Mieka-Ray Wise. The Wildcats got first-place finishes from Erwin (long jump and triple jump), Turner (discus and shot put) and the girls 1,600-meter relay team of Janes, Robinson, Rodgers and Wise.
