MCHS track at MCHS Early Invite

The Montgomery County track team started its 2021 season on March 23 at the MCHS Early Invite at Jim Blacklock Field. The girls team finished second with 129 points and finished first in seven events. The boys team placed third with 103 points and placed first in four events. Among the top performers were Renee Finke, who won the high jump and the 100-meter hurdles and helped the 1,600-meter relay team pick up a win; Malia Rodgers, who broke a school record in her victory in the 3,200; and Dawson McCown, who won the 1,600 and helped the 4x800 pick up a victory.
