The Montgomery County volleyball team lost to the Hermann Bearcats 25-11, 25-12, 25-20 in the Class 2, District 6 championship match on Oct. 25 at Ballew & Snell Court. The Wildcats, who played in their first district final since 2018, finished their season at 12-14-2. They defeated North Callaway and Tolton Catholic in the first two rounds to advance to the title match against Hermann, which won its seventh straight district crown and is looking to win its second straight state title.
