MCHS, W-M at state cross country

Two Montgomery County and three Wellsville-Middletown runners competed at the Missouri state cross country meet on Nov. 5 at Gans Creek Course in Columbia. MCHS senior Lyric Ford earned her fourth all-state medal, placing fourth in the Class 3 girls state meet. MCHS' Jadrian Thurmon (71st, Class 3 boys) and Hunter Bickell (71st, Class 1 boys), Kaleb Peak (76th, Class 1 boys) and Bethany Slovensky (118th, Class 1 girls) were the other area competitors.
