Charles (Mike) Michael Puckett passed February 22, 2023 at Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans’ Hospital in Columbia. Mike was born December 7, 1948 to Charles E. Puckett and Patricia (Shoemaker) Puckett.
After high school graduation, Mike joined the United States Marine Corps and proudly served his country from April 1972 to November 1980. After his time with the Marine Corps, Mike completed his college courses at the University of Southern California in aeronautics and mathematics. He then began his tenure as an over the road truck driver. Mike belonged to St. John’s Lutheran Church in Warrenton, Missouri.
Mike was a God-fearing man with a spirit to live life to the fullest! He enjoyed flying planes, rock climbing and visiting with friends and family.
Mike is survived by his daughter, Kate (Phil) Fuentes; grandsons, Philip and Talon Fuentes of the state of California; mother, Patricia Puckett, of New Florence; a sister, Deborah; a brother, Kevin; and many nieces and nephews.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Puckett; and his beloved pup, Amelia.
Per Mike’s wishes, there will be no services. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Montgomery County Senior Center; in care of Schlanker Funeral Home, 207 Danville Road, Montgomery City, MO 63361.
