The Montgomery County Arts Council hosted the First Annual Quilt Show on Feb. 12 at the Bellflower Community Building. The event had more than 70 quilts in the contest. Jenni Hunt of Troy won first place, followed by Montgomery City residents Linda Eatherton and Ruth Devlin in second and third, respectively. There was also an appearance by Toby Lischko, a Franklin County resident who is an author and quilt specialist. THEO TATE PHOTOS
