Montgomery County High School’s Homecoming week began on Tuesday and will end on Friday. Its theme is “We Got The Beat.”
The school selected its Homecoming court. They are seniors Lily Hillebrand and Dallas Hans, juniors Silvia Pizarroso Vicente and Marshall Bishop, sophomores Paislee Clark and Chad Austin Smith, freshmen Khloe Thomas and Silas Powell and Wildcat candidates Sarah Waters and Tyler Rodgers. Both Waters and Rodgers are seniors.
A coronation will be held at halftime of the MCHS’ football game against Mark Twain on Friday. Senior Jillian Weekley was last year’s Homecoming queen.
Each of the days on Homecoming week has a dress-up theme. “Party In The U.S.A.” was the theme on Tuesday in which students dress red, white and blue. Wednesday’s theme will be “We’re All In This Together” in which students dress as twins or groups. Thursday’s theme is “9 To 5 Work Day” in which students dress in their business attire. Friday’s theme is “We Are The Champions” in which students get to wear their Homecoming shirts.
