Montgomery County Middle School Invitational

Montgomery County and Wellsville-Middletown middle schools competed in the Montgomery County Invitational on May 3 at Jim Blacklock Field. Jadrian Thurmon was the top performer for MCMS, winning the 400 and placing second in the 100, 200 and long jump. He ran a school-record time of 11.89 seconds, breaking the old mark of 11.9 set by Nick Martin in 2009. W-M's top finish was a second-place finish from its 3,200-meter relay team of Jonah Slovensky, Jace Norris, Gage Marshall and Hunter Bickell. THEO TATE PHOTOS.
