On May 16, deputies responded to Bellflower for a report of a female subject actively breaking a neighbor’s windows. During the investigation deputies learned the incident began after the suspect requested marijuana from the victim, who told her he did not have any. The suspect then used a piece of wood to break windows on the victim’s residence and damage the victim’s vehicle. The suspect also threatened a juvenile with the piece of wood before leaving the area. Deputies searched the surrounding area and located the suspect a few blocks away.
As deputies attempted to place the suspect under arrest, she pulled away and attempted to flee. Deputies were able to gain control of the suspect and place her under arrest. The suspect was transported to the MC Jail and charged with property damage 1st degree, property damage 2nd degree, armed criminal action, endangering the welfare of a child and resisting arrest.
Also on May 16, deputies conducted a traffic stop in the Jonesburg area. During the course of the stop deputies discovered the driver had an active warrant for his arrest. The driver was taken into custody without incident and transported to the MC Jail on the active warrant.
On May 17, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the Danville area. During the course of the stop deputies discovered the driver’s driving privileges were suspended and the vehicle was not properly registered. The driver was arrested and transported to the MC Jail, where they were charged with driving while suspended and failing to register a motor vehicle.
Also on May 17, deputies observed a vehicle parked in the middle of the roadway. As deputies passed the vehicle the driver exited and approached the patrol vehicle in a threatening manner. Deputies conducted a U-turn, activated their emergency lights and pulled in behind the vehicle. The driver then re-entered the vehicle and fled the area, refusing deputies’ commands to stop. After several blocks, the vehicle came to a stop and the driver exited the vehicle while yelling profanities at deputies. Deputies advised the subject he was under arrest and as they attempted to place him into custody, he physically resisted. Deputies also observed signs of intoxication from the driver. The driver was eventually restrained and transported to the MC Jail. While at the jail the subject again resisted law enforcement officers, and a taser was deployed to gain control of him. The driver was subsequently charged with driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest, failure to signal and illegal parking.

While reviewing security footage deputies observed the suspect confronting the victims while holding both a screwdriver and box cutter. The suspect was arrested and transported to the MC Jail. She was subsequently charged with domestic assault, harassment and armed criminal action.
