The Montgomery Standard at 115 W. Third St. in Montgomery City will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving on both Thursday, Nov. 23, and Friday, Nov. 24.
The office will be open during its normal business hours, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Nov. 22, and will reopen Monday, Nov. 27.
The deadline for advertising and news submissions for the Nov. 29 edition is noon Wednesday, Nov. 22.
Community calendar items due
Those who wish to have event information published in the free December Community Calendar that will be published in the Nov. 29 edition of The Standard should have the information submitted no later than noon on Wednesday, Nov. 22.
