Weather permitting, the Missouri Department of Transportation's contractor will complete the final stages of repairs on Interstate 70 at the High Hill exit on Aug. 10-11 after the overpass was hit by a tractor trailer in June.
This work will include guardrail installation and barrier removal. Crews will work with nighttime lane closures beginning each evening at 8 p.m.-5:30 a.m. the next morning. Work is scheduled to begin with a lane reduction on eastbound I-70, which will reopen as work progresses
to the westbound lanes. All ramps and the overpass/bridge at Route F/High Hill interchange will remain open to traffic.
Motorists can check traffic conditions by visiting MoDOT's Traveler Information Map at www.traveler.modot.org and find the most updated travel information, traffic conditions and work zone locations.
