The Montgomery County cross country season ended on Nov. 1 at the Class 3, District 3 championship meet at Linn as six of its runners didn't qualify for the state meet in Columbia. Austyn Spinks was the Wildcats' top finisher, placing 38th with a 23:32. MCHS’ other competitors were senior Katlyn Kolling (51st, 24:21.40, girls race), junior Jacob Roesner (51st, 19:39.50, boys race), freshman Anna Kay Johnson (58th, 24:54.6, girls race), junior Olivia Spurgeon (65th, 25:38.20, girls race) and junior Noah Lacy (124th, 23:30.90, boys race).
