The Montgomery County football team began its postseason play on Nov. 7 with a 44-7 win over the Hermann Bearcats in a Class 2, District 2 semifinal game at Jim Blacklock Field. The Wildcats won their first district game in five years and advanced to take on Bowling Green in the finals on Nov. 14.
