The Montgomery County softball team finished fourth in the Class 2 Final Four after losing 6-0 to Mid-Buchanan in the third-place game on Oct. 31. The Wildcats earned their first state trophy in program history and competed at the Final Four for the first time. Reese Hill had two hits  and struck out nine batters and Dylan Topel, Anna Klekamp and Skylar Bethmann each had a hit for MCHS. Theo Tate photos
