Raymond E. See, of Montgomery City, passed away on December 27, 2022, at 3:30 PM. Raymond was 92 years old.

Raymond was born in Mexico (Audrain County) to Raymond Casper See and Mollie Myrtle See on March 15, 1930. Raymond married Norma Jean Worley in 1954 at Wellsville. Raymond was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

Raymond loved fishing and working on his small farm where he raised all kinds of farm animals, many were bottle fed. He also enjoyed going to public auctions and yard sales, helping his wife with her resale shop she had for a few years, visiting with family and friends and going to the Old Threshers Show.

Raymond worked at various trucking jobs. He then went to work for Ralston Purina for many years before he retired.

Raymond is survived by his daughter, Bonita See of Montgomery City; son, James (Cindy) See of Washington (Franklin County);  grandchildren: Sarah, Samantha and Jacob See; great-grandchildren, Chloe Simmons, Ryan Solsiliac and Haylee See; niece, Cindy Smith of Camdenton; and various cousins.

In addition to his wife, Norma, Raymond was also preceded in death by one daughter, Deborah Jean; his mother and father, Mollie and Raymond; sister, Mary Ann Smith; brothers-in-law, Dale Smith and Emory Gerken; and nephew, Gary Smith.

A graveside service with full military honors will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2022 at the Montgomery City Cemetery. Casketbearers will include Victor Wieser, Ed Torbeck, Marvin Griesbauer, Gerald Deves, Dave Turner, Gerard Busken, Lester Smith, David Barker, Jim Krattli and Ronnie Johnson.
